What the 12-unit curriculum covers

The foundation track is organized as a year-long sequence because adult diaspora learners need time for pronunciation, grammar, cultural context, review, and lived practice to settle. A trimester can introduce topics; twelve units build durable fluency.

Why not a semester or trimester?

Yorùbá is tonal, cultural, and cumulative. The 12-unit model gives each learner repeated contact with sound, vocabulary, sentence structure, oral tradition, and review instead of rushing through sacred and practical language in a short academic block.

Where private lessons fit

Private lessons provide a customized path for students who need focused pronunciation, ceremony preparation, catch-up support, or accelerated pacing. Packages begin at $150/month.
